Kanaya Brush was established in 1914 in the Asakusa district of Tokyo. It produces over 400 different styles of brush using horse and boar hair, intended for cleaning, cosmetic, and artistic purposes.

The wood grain of each handle will vary from brush to brush. Available with a long or short handle.
Care Instructions:
Thoroughly rinse the brush after each use. You may notice a sticky sap coming from the hinoki wood handle - this is a sign the wood is alive and healthy. Simply wipe off with a damp cloth.
